Exit 111 Teams Up With Rise Above Fest and Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE)

Music is a powerful thing. That’s no secret to all of you. It lets us know that we’re not alone. Building onto that mentality, we’re proud to partner with Rise Above Fest and Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE) to bring Shaun Morgan’s Rise Above Stage to Exit 111.

Back in 2012, Seether founded Rise Above Fest to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental illness. The festival’s name drew inspiration from the song “Rise Above This” written by vocalist, Shaun Morgan, who lost his brother to suicide in 2008. Check it out below.

“I started this cause as a tribute to anyone who has lost someone. If Rise Above does something to help one person reconsider the tragic choice of suicide, then it will be the greatest success of my career,” Shaun shared.

Since 2013, Rise Above Fest has partnered with SAVE, one of the nation’s first organizations dedicated to the prevention of suicide. Now more important than ever, the organization is dedicated to raising awareness and educating the public on how they can prevent suicide and SAVE lives. $1 from every Exit 111 ticket directly benefits SAVE and their mission to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma and serve as a resource to those touched by suicide.
