Everything You Need To Know

Exit 111 is almost here! We’ve got everything you need for a smooth arrival and a rockin’ weekend. 


Night time temperatures are looking a bit chilly, so be sure to prepare yourself with proper clothing and gear! For night shows, make sure you have a good coat, warm shoes and socks, a winter hat, and some decent rain gear for possible scattered rain on Saturday. If you are camping, be sure to pack a warm sleeping bag or heavy blanket, and use a sleeping pad to insulate you from the colder ground under your tent. 

CARBON MONOXIDE WARNING: Be extremely mindful of exhaust fumes from running car engines or generators. Do not sleep in a running car or unventilated space.

View the traffic map to help give you a general idea of what to expect as you approach the event. ALWAYS follow staff and police instructions (even if they differ from the map) as we may adjust traffic plans in real time to keep all the lines moving smoothly and safely. All types of vehicle passes can approach along any of these routes, and there will be box office access through each entrance as well.

Campground gates open at 3pm on Thursday. Get here early to get a closer spot to the venue and to give yourself plenty of time to set up camp! 

Please BE PATIENT– directing THOUSANDS of people onto a farm takes time, and you may be in line for a bit. Be sure to take a bathroom break and fill up your gas tank before getting in line. 

Be prepared to have your car politely searched on your way in. Remember, no glass, no kegs, no pets! (see our FAQ for more details)

Want to camp together? Start a caravan! The best way to secure a campsite next to your friends is to drive in together.  If your vehicles arrive separately, we cannot guarantee that you will be placed next to your friends (this also applies to companion passes for RVs!)

Exit & Re-Entry: Camping passes are intended for your vehicle to park and STAY for the duration of the event. If you need to leave every night, you should purchase a PARKING pass. Camping vehicles can leave if they need to, but any vehicle with a camping pass that has left the grounds will need to purchase a new camping pass in order to re-enter. This discourages unnecessary traffic in the campgrounds and keeps everyone safe. So, come prepared or stop by one of the general stores on-site to re-stock.


Wristband registration is REQUIRED for all attendees and ensures a smooth process when entering the festival each day PLUS it makes sure that it remains yours! Activate your wristband and register for Cashless before you arrive. Register and sign up for cashless here

Did you overly tighten your wristband? Wristband Damaged? Please visit the box office upon arrival to get a replacement wristband. Note that there is a replacement fee. View the wristband policy here


If you do not have all your necessary tickets/wristbands or car passes already in hand, you will need to pick them up or purchase them at will call. All international orders will need to visit Will Call to pick up orders. Will Call & Box Office are located next to the West tollbooth,  but you will also be able to access box office help from other entrances as well (so always follow staff directions as you approach!)

DURING FESTIVAL –  Official Exit 111 Festival Box Office Hours: 

Gates and Box Office open at 3pm CT on Thursday October 10, 2019 and remain open 24 hours through the end of the festival on Sunday October 13, 2019. 

Note: Only the West Tollbooth will be open 24 hours a day. If you arrive in non-peak hours you might be directed to this location. There is no offsite box office on Thursday October 10, 2019. All ticket buyers will need to proceed to follow signs and staff directions after the campgrounds open on Thursday October 10, 2019. A box office is accessible through any campground entrance.

*NOTE: Tickets may only be picked up by the original buyer with valid photo ID.

Forget something? Remember that we’ll have general stores with ice, drinks, toiletries, and other useful items for sale in the campgrounds!  

Bag Policy:

Most  bags are allowed in the campgrounds, but  when heading into the main venue make sure your bag follows these guidelines: 

  • Clear bags made of clear plastic, clear vinyl, or clear pvc which do not exceed 20″ x 15″ x 9″
  • Waist pack, fanny packs, or similar
  • Small Clutch Bags up to 4.5″ x 5.5″
  • Empty hydration packs with a gear capacity of 2.5L/150 cubic inches with no more than two front pockets. (i.e. water bladder + 2 additional front pockets). No larger than 20″ x 15″ x 9″.


Pedicabs:  There will be pedicabs available for hire making roaming trips throughout the campgrounds, entrances and day parking areas for your convenience. Hours of operation will depend on demand. Each ride fare is negotiated between the riders and driver. Bring some cash if you’re interested in hitching a ride.


Showers:  Need to freshen up? Find the showers near the campground barns. Showers will cost $10 each. 

Hours:  Thursday 5pm-Midnight Friday 6am-Midnight Saturday 6am-Midnight Sunday 6am-Midnight
