Safety & Medical
We make every effort to create a safe and secure environment at Exit 111. On-site security and emergency medical staff will be available 24 hours a day. If you need any assistance, go to the nearest Medical Tent or ask any staff member for assistance.
NO QUESTIONS ASKED
Medical and safety locations at Exit 111 are safe havens – meaning, you can’t get in trouble for anything you say to medical or safety staff at Exit 111. That’s the deal. So if a friend needs help, please stick around and help fill in the blanks. No one will hassle you. And if you think you might need assistance, don’t worry, speak up. Whatever you tell us is confidential, and Exit 111 staff are here for you and no one else.
Medical Emergency Services For your safety, Medical Tents are staffed with nurses and physicians, and a roaming medical staff is always on duty in the concert venue.
WHERE: Stay tuned for specific medical location details.
WHERE: You can find our safety (aka security) staff roaming through every campground, at the entrance to the Venue and at all stages, as well as throughout all of the Main Venue.
Our safety staff is trained to help make sure everyone has a good time and stays safe. If you have a security issue in the campgrounds, each campground has a security station open 24 hours. Mobile security patrols roam the campground areas at all times and can assist as well.
All vehicles will be searched upon entry to the festival at the Tollbooths (which you should definitely keep in mind when deciding what to bring).
And prepare to be (politely) searched each time you enter the concert Venue.
Please don’t buy from unlicensed vendors. We work hard to ensure all official food and drink is good and safe. And really, if you buy something from an unlicensed vendor, you have no idea what you’re getting. There is lots of great stuff to buy from official vendors, who deserve your business, not least because they have made a real commitment to support the festival.
Emergency Vehicle Access
Our roads might not look like city streets, but for emergency and maintenance vehicles, they do the job as long as you keep them open. Which is what we ask you to do. Please park in designated areas and don’t drive around the site. Walk on the sides of the roads, and please let all official vehicles through.
Is There a Mobile App?
Yes! The Exit 111 mobile app will be available closer to the festival.
Lost & Found
DURING THE FESTIVALLose something at the festival? Head to an info booth for more information.
If the Info Booth doesn’t have it you shouldn’t give up just yet – Head on over to exit111fest.com/lost to submit a claim. If another festival goer turns it in we’ll be able to match it up with you.
In and Out of the Campgrounds on Foot
You may leave and re-enter the event grounds on foot at any time and as often as you like. You must be scanned out by our staff and scanned back in when you return. Very important: If you do not have your wristband scanned out, you will not be allowed to re-enter the site.
Do not attempt to leave through the Highway Tollbooth, even if you originally came in there.
In and Out of the Campgrounds in a Vehicle
We hope you won’t need to leave during the festival. But if you do, please try to do so during non-peak entry times (after Friday midday and early evening), unless there is a serious emergency. It is best to arrive with enough supplies to last you the whole weekend.
Anytime you leave the campgrounds you’ll have to wait in line and go through another vehicle search when you return (just as if you were entering for the first time).
In and Out of Main Venue
Want to take a midday nap? No problem. You may exit and re-enter the Venue back to the campgrounds as many times as you please. Keep in mind you must be scanned out in order to re-enter, and you will have to pass through a security checkpoint to re-enter the venue (just as if you were entering for the first time).
Exit & Re-entry
Exit & re-entry is allowed, but you MUST scan your wristbands and car passes on the way out to ensure that you are allowed back in. This stops folks from “passing back” their passes after they get in. We will NOT allow you back in with a pass that has already been used to enter, but has not been scanned out again.
Can I Drive My Car In Every Day And Park?
Yes. If you are not camping or are parking just for the day, you MUST have a Day or Weekend Parking Pass to park on-site. Upon arrival, one of our parking staff will direct you to the Day Parking Lot.

This is a camping festival, so be sure to prepare yourself with the basics. Here’s a list that might help:
DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT
Tents & Shelters
Sleeping Bags & Beds
Cooler and/or water jugs
Lantern / flashlight / headlamp (+extra batteries)
Camping chairs, tables, and anything else that might help create a comfortable campsite
Sweatshirt or coat (Yes, it’s Tennessee, but night time will get cool)
Mud boots (in case it rains)
A hat for shade
Bags for trash
Toilet paper (we provide plenty, but backup is nice)
Flag or balloon to easily identify your campsite
Extra set of keys to keep with you at all times (avoid keeping keys in your car)
YOU DON’T NEED IT TO SURVIVE, BUT YOU’LL BE HAPPY YOU HAVE IT
Small stove or grill if you would like to cook some of your own food (please obey our Gasoline/Charcoal/Propane Policy)
Small luggage lock for your tent (please don’t bring any valuables – if you must, keep them locked out of view in your vehicle)
Vehicle key code (this makes it easy for the locksmith to duplicate your car key if you lose it)
Smokers – bring an ashtray. Every butt you throw on the ground, someone has to pick up.
Blanket (for sitting)
Earplugs (for sleeping)
Portable speakers or radio
Is There A Map Of The Festival?
Here is a basic map of the grounds. The official 2019 map with more details will be released closer to the event. The map will also be available in the Mobile App closer to the festival.
Where is Exit 111 Festival Located?
Our festival site is a beautiful 700-acre farm, located in Manchester, TN, about 60 miles southeast of Nashville and 40 miles northwest of Chattanooga. During the event, this farm transforms into a full fledged city almost overnight. And this can mean traffic. Lots of it. So please, consider ridesharing – it helps reduce traffic, saves money on gas, and it’s just smart.
The Venue is the heart of the festival where you’ll see performances, check out the vendors, and explore all kinds of activities. It opens at 12:00 PM on Friday, Oct 11th, and closes each night after the last performance ends.
When you enter these areas, you must show your festival wristband, and you’ll be searched (see below for what is and what is not allowed).
What Are The Festival Dates And Hours?
Exit 111 Festival will be held Oct 11-13, 2019.
Is There an Access Program?
Exit 111 will be fully ADA compliant and provide options for fans with disabilities to come and have a great time. More details on our access program coming soon.

The Buying Process
From our tickets page, the “buy now” links will take you to our ticketing site hosted by Front Gate Tickets. Front Gate handles all things associated directly with your purchase order including customer service for things like payment, order changes, wristband shipments, etc.
Create An Account: When you add a ticket to your cart, you will be prompted to create or sign into a Front Gate Tickets account. This is required and is the account you will need to log in to if you ever want to review or update your order. It’s a good idea to create a Front Gate Tickets account ahead of time if you are buying at a busy time and want to be able to move quickly.
Time Limit: Once you cart a ticket, you will have a limited time to finish checkout. So be sure you know what you want before going in. This is done to make sure that everyone has a fair chance at the limited ticket volume and nobody can hold onto them indefinitely without purchasing them.
Layaway Plans: Near the end of the checkout process you will have the option of splitting your order into multiple payments. This can be done to any order and will split your ENTIRE order cost based on a percentage.
Customer service and getting prompt help: Your best contact for ticketing related support is Front Gate Tickets. They can also be reached by phone at 888-512-SHOW (7469).
Which Type Of Vehicle Pass Do I Need?
-If you are staying off-site, but would like to drive to the festival every day
CAR CAMPING PASS
-If you purchased a ticket and are planning on camping next to your car
RV CAMPING PASSES
-If you have a festival ticket & are bringing any type of RV for camping. (Any vehicle larger than a standard 15 passenger van is an RV. More details on RV definitions here)
MOTORCYCLE CAMPING PASS
-If you purchased a ticket, are planning on camping for the weekend and are arriving on a motorcycle.
-If you are bringing a motorcycle, entering at the same time as an RV, and parking within that RV’s campsite (limit 1 companion vehicle per RV. Both the bike AND the RV will need their own pass)
-If you purchased a ticket and are planning on camping for the weekend, but will be arriving without any vehicle.
Note: All camping passes are PER-VEHICLE, and you cannot get more space than you have vehicles for. For example, you may not show up with one car but 2 car camping passes and expect to get 2 campsites. you will only get 1 campsite per vehicle – regardless of how many passes you have.
On the checkout page, you have the option to purchase your full order at that time or you can purchase using a “layaway plan” for a non-refundable nominal fee. Unlike some events, this layaway plan applies to everything in your cart at checkout – not just your tickets. Purchaser must agree to the Layaway Plan Terms & Conditions, including a default policy.
After your first payment is made, the follow-up payments will be drawn automatically from the same payment method on the specified due dates. If you would like to update your payment info or simply log in to review your order details, simply go to the official ticketing site (where you originally purchased the tickets) and click “sign in” at the top of the page. Once signed in, click on “manage order” in the same top navigation bar and input your order details. Once logged into the order, you will be able to update your payment and/or shipping information.
Can I finish paying off my layaway plan early? Yes, see details here

Do layaway plans work for VIP or Platinum too?
YES. Layaway plans can be applied to GA, VIP, and Platinum ticket purchases. You can see the detailed payment schedule at checkout when you select your layaway plan based on the contents of your shopping cart.
What is a ticket "tier”? (ex. tier 1, tier 2)
Ticket pricing tiers are our way of rewarding fans who purchase their tickets early. All tiers of the same ticket type are the same exact ticket, just at a different price. The Tier 1 prices are the lowest price, and when they sell out, we roll into selling tier 2. When tier 2 sells out, we roll into selling tier 3, etc. So it’s always better to buy early.
Can I Purchase Tickets Over The Phone?
Yes, please contact our ticket provider, Front Gate Tickets, or call 888-512-SHOW (7469).
Is It OK To Buy From A Third Party?
Only wristbands and car passes purchased through the official ticket website are guaranteed to be authentic, with properly coded and activated RFID technology. If you want 100% confidence in your ticket purchase, you should only purchase your tickets through the link on our tickets page, frontgatetickets.com, Ticketmaster Verified Exchange, or through a friend’s link in our OFFICIAL ambassador program powered by Verve. In the event of a festival cancellation, your tickets may only be refunded when purchased through our official site. Tickets from other websites or resellers cannot be verified by the festival. WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO GET SCAMMED!
Please be aware: We are not responsible for any counterfeit tickets, wristbands or car passes. In addition, any wristbands reported lost or stolen will have their RFID chip deactivated and will not be valid. For your own protection, please do not purchase wristbands from any source other than exit111festival.com. Fake or deactivated wristbands may look like the real thing but they will be identified by our scanning system at the front gates. Those in possession of fake wristbands – or ones reported lost or stolen – will not be admitted to the festival and the wristband(s) will be confiscated.
Removing a wristband automatically voids it (unless by accident or for safety reasons, in which case you need to get a replacement wristband from a customer service booth at the festival – this will require you to prove your purchase information). Festival Security will check every wristband to assure it has not been removed or passed between multiple people.

Campgrounds will open on Thursday, the day before the festival (specific time TBD) and will remain open until 12:00 PM on Monday, Oct 14, 2019.
Every person with a ticket to the festival is welcome to roam the campgrounds, but every vehicle requires a pass, and that pass also designates your campsite.
All camping passes include:
- 4 nights of camping (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night) for everyone in your vehicle
- In and Out privileges between campgrounds and entertainment area
- Access to restroom and shower facilities. Note: Showers are an additional charge.
NOTE: A camping pass only permits entry into the campgrounds. To enter the festival you’ll need a separate ticket for the event.
Are Camping Passes Per Person Or Per Vehicle?
They are per vehicle. Every car, truck, SUV, mini van or other standard vehicle will need a Car Camping Pass in order to enter the Tollbooth.Every RV will need an RV pass. Every Motorcycle will need a motorcycle pass.
Note: You cannot get more space than you have vehicles. You will only receive 1 campsite per vehicle – regardless of how many passes you have.
RV Camping Information
An RV pass is required for each RV entering the campgrounds (think of it like a ticket for your RV). Each RV space will be about 20′ X 50′. Tents can be set up if they are within this space, and any slides or awnings must fit within this designated space too.
The following vehicles are considered an RV, and require an RV Pass:
- Any size RV: Class A, Class B or Class C
- Any size bus (no tour buses, prevosts or motorcoaches allowed)
- Any vehicle longer than a normal 15-passenger van (20ft.)
- Any vehicle towing a camper or 5th wheel of any size. If you’re hitching anything, it’s an RV. *Box trucks and trailers are not allowed into the campgrounds.
RV Companion Vehicle Information
Looking to bring an extra car with your RV? Purchase one of the RV + companion car camping pass options. Vehicles towing campers are considered part of the RV, and do not need a Car Camping Pass, but must remain attached to the camper.
Even if your (non-towed) car and RV can fit into one designated RV space (20’ X 50’) companion cars will be parked in a lot very close to their accompanying RV.
There will not be any dumping areas. However, there will be a company roaming the campgrounds to empty your holding tanks and refill your water for a fee. The number for the company can be found in your Festival Guide when you arrive on site and they will be available 24 hours a day.
What Is Your Alcohol Policy?
Each person may bring in 2 cases of beer, 1.75 liter of hard liquor (NO GLASS), and 2 boxes of wine. Anything over this amount is considered “excessive” and will be confiscated. No kegs are allowed in the campgrounds.
NOTE: These limits are per person. So a car with several people can bring this amount times the number of people in the car… which should be PLENTY.
Do I Have To Sleep In A Tent?
As long as you’re confined within your campsite, you can sleep in a tent, in your car, under the stars, in a box, etc.
SLEEP SAFE: Please be mindful of safety if you choose to sleep in a vehicle. Always make sure it is well ventilated and NEVER sleep in a running car. And always be mindful of where your car exhaust is and make sure it is never venting into an enclosed area like a neighbor’s tent.
What Is Your Gasoline/Propane/Charcoal Policy?
If you have a gas-powered generator smaller than 4KW, you are allowed to bring the appropriate amount of gasoline to power it. Any excessive amounts of gasoline will be confiscated.
If you have a portable grill or stove, you may bring up to 40 lbs of charcoal and/or a small (20 lbs or less) container of propane. Please note, the small green Coleman propane tanks are limited to 2 per grill.
Will There Be Electrical Outlets? Wi-Fi?
There will be Wi-Fi available as well as cell phone charging stations at select locations. Stay tuned for details.
Will There Be Food Vendors In The Campgrounds?
Yes. There will be food vendors throughout the campgrounds.
I'm Not Bringing A Vehicle. Is There A Tent Only Camping Area?
If you would like a campsite but are arriving without a vehicle, please purchase a Motorcycle camping pass and bring it with you in hand. Show this to the staff at the entry gate and you will be able to camp in a motorcycle camping spot.
Am I Allowed To Camp In The Campgrounds With A Full-Size Van Or VW Bus?
Yes, as long as your van or bus seats less than 15 people or is less than 20 feet long. If you plan to bring a vehicle larger than a standard 15-passenger van, you need to purchase an RV Pass, rather than the Car Camping Pass or Day Parking Pass.
Can I Have A Campfire?
No. Open flames will not be permitted within the campgrounds or festival site.
Can I Bring A Guitar? Instruments?
Yes, but please be mindful of your neighbors. Also, leave your instruments inside the campgrounds. Maybe one day you’ll be on stage, but not today.
I'm Going To The Festival But Not Camping On-Site. Can I Still Visit The Campgrounds?
Yes. Your wristband will allow you to access the campgrounds.
How Big Is A Camping Spot?
If you are Car Camping, you will be given a spot that is roughly 20×20 feet (400 square feet), which includes where the vehicle is parked. Motorcycle spots are roughly 15’x10′ and RV spots are roughly 20’x50′
Can I Ride My Bicycle Around?
No. 2-wheeled objects will not be permitted within the campgrounds or festival site (with the exception of motorcycles with motorcycle camping passes).
Do You Offer Accessible Camping?
Yes. more info coming soon.
Getting to the Fest
Like officers everywhere, Tennessee police expect you to obey the highway safety laws, and they’re prepared to enforce them. They’re especially strict about open container violations, so please remember – the festival doesn’t start for you till you’re PARKED.
Please stay in your car, especially when you’re waiting in line to enter the festival.
How to deal with the inevitable traffic delays:
-Fill up your tank before getting in line to enter the festival. There are no gas stations on-site. We suggest stopping and filling up when you’re still an hour or so away – things will get more crowded as you get closer.
-Empty YOUR tank, too, before you arrive. There are no bathrooms in line.
-Pack some snacks and nonalcoholic beverages.
What Are “Tollbooths” And What Can I Expect As I Enter?
When you get there, you’ll fan out from a single lane into multiple lanes where you’ll be processed for entry.
You MUST have a vehicle pass for EVERY vehicle in order to pass through the Tollbooth. (you may pass on foot with only a valid ticket/wristband)
Your vehicle will be searched upon entry. Please review our list of prohibited items here.
RVs and their companion vehicles with the necessary passes, and all “accessible camping” vehicles will be directed to designated lanes. If that’s you, follow the posted signs.
As you enter the Tollbooth, everyone in your vehicle should have their wristband registered, in place around their wrist, and ready to show to the Tollbooth staff. See the Wristband section for instructions.
Once your vehicle is processed, you’re good to enter. Next, follow the parking staff’s directions to your camping area – camping locations are on a first come, first served basis.
NOTE: even if you are just parking for the day, you MUST have a Day Parking Pass to park on-site. Upon arrival, one of our parking staff will direct you to the Day Parking Lot.
We ask that you don’t clog up the Tollbooth or roads by waiting for your friends. The only way to make sure you camp with them is to arrive together.
How to Get to Exit 111
DIRECTIONS BY CAR If you’re coming from the east, use I-75 or I-59 to Chattanooga. From Chattanooga take I-24 west. If you’re coming from the west, use I-40, I-24, or I-65 to Nashville. From Nashville take I-24 east. If you’re using a GPS, just set it for Manchester, TN. When you get close you’ll see signs for the festival. The actual street address of the festival is 627 Campground Rd, Manchester, Tennessee 37355 BUT as you approach, you should start to follow signs and directions from police and staff rather than your GPS.
DIRECTIONS BY BUS The Greyhound Bus Line goes right to Manchester, TN and the bus station is located 1-mile from the festival at 617 Woodbury Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355. Remember, we don’t offer transportation from the bus stop to the festival so have a friend pick you up or take a local taxi.
DIRECTIONS BY PLANE Most people who fly use the Nashville International Airport (BNA) which is 60 miles by car to Manchester, TN. We do not offer a shuttle service at this time.
Others fly into Chattanooga (CHA) which is a quick 80 mile drive to Manchester, TN, or Knoxville (TYS) a 150 mile drive, or Atlanta (ATL) which clocks in at 195 miles to Manchester, TN.

Where Can I Go If I Need Medical Or Safety Help?
Medical and safety staff are on duty 24 hours a day in the campgrounds, and in the event venue. Check your festival map (COMING SOON)for specific locations. If you have any concerns, or you feel anything less than well, seek them out. And, as we said before, if you’re not sure whether it’s an emergency, act like it is.
Will There Be Bathrooms And Showers?
There are plenty of bathrooms available on site and they are, of course, free to use.
SHOWERS (hours and cost): Showers can be found throughout the campgrounds, indicated on your festival map. Showers are operated and cleaned during hours of operations (coming soon).
